Listening to: Sparks - Barbecutie

Just some caretaking for those of you interested, which I think is no one, because I'm a bit boring:

Things I Should Be Doing but Am Not Doing:

1. Writing a CV.
2. Using aforementioned CV to apply for jobs.
3. Unpacking.
4. Repacking because I'm about to move house.
5. Digesting. My tummy hurts and I can't cook.

Good Things That Happened Lately:

1. Graduated with a good mark.
2. Getting one of my short stories published.
3. Number 2 is so good I'm going to have to repeated it in caps lock:

GETTING ONE OF MY SHORT STORIES PUBLISHED!

4. Wore nice shoes to the cinema last night.

I'm so, so happy about getting the story published. It shall be in BRAND magazine issue 1 if anyone's interested, but yes. I'm happy.

The real world is a scary place, but these days I think I'm ready for a challange. I'm also ready to go on some adventures. Anyone care to join me? We can wear pirate hats and skip on the grass.

Alas, Congo's out of the question, because I'm too afraid of needles to get all the necessary inoculations. Probably I'll got to Tibet and meet a yeti with an alcoholic salty sea captain.

The film was a documentary about a boarding school in the Scottish hills, where the school kids are taught magic by Headmaster Daniels and his lovely assistant Professor Debbie Magee. There was Alan Rickman too and he had hair in it.

Thank you! It's...I can't remember what it's called now. It's a newer version of "You who are not love" or else "To love me completely". It's gone through so many different titles that I can't remember what it's posted here as.

("To love me completely", it seems. The published version is called "Shrinky Dinc".)

the hair sounds facinating, i watched a comedy on tv recently about a man with ginger hair who wrote a book about his happy friend, and they ended up running the country, they both had incredible jibs
